Description: The puprpose is to map, catalog, and locate fire hydrant and Water points within Yadkin County, NC in compliance with the North Carolina Office of State Fire Marshal's 9S requirements. These include all Fire Hydrants, Dry Hydrants, Drafting Points, and Turbo Drafting Locations located throughout the County. Data includes physical address or approximation of the hydrants location, hydrant type, manufacturer, model, static pressure, residual pressure, pito pressure, flow, color of the hyhdrant, distance from the road and the lat/long cordinates. Data is provided to us by the 10 Fire Departments Serving Yadkin County, Yadkin County Fire Marshall's Office,, and Yadkin County EMA . Data is also collected using GPS by the Yadkin County GIS Department
